DA- und WO- Compound Words

2/1/2021

In this video you are going to learn the German da-words, also referred to as da-compounds. As they are mostly used with verbs and their associated prepositions, in this video I will focus on verbs only. The so called "Präpositionalsadverbien" are being taught at the end of A2 level. To use them properly we recommend to know the German reflexive verbs (link below) as lots of those verbs come with prepositions and that's what is needed for the da-compound words. Important: The question word is not WAS... but WO - Wofür interessierst du dich? NOT: Für was interessierst du dich? - Womit lernst du Deutsch? NOT: Mit was lernst du Deutsch? - Woran denkst du? NOT: An was denkst du?
